About this project
VR-HADES explores how virtual reality can make cable harness design faster, more intuitive and easier to validate. Instead of designing cable routes purely in conventional CAD environments, users can shape and inspect harnesses directly around a virtual representation of the hardware. The project demonstrated this approach using a quadcopter, allowing users to assess routing, accessibility and fit early in the design process — before physical hardware is available.
