Music on Mars

About this project

Music on Mars combines virtual reality, space science and contemporary classical music to create an entirely new kind of concert experience. Developed together with the DoelenEnsemble, the experience transports the audience from the concert hall to a virtual Mars, exploring how our perception of music changes when it is placed in an unfamiliar environment. By combining contemporary music with an immersive virtual representation of the Red Planet, Music on Mars creates a unique encounter between art, technology and space exploration.
