About this project
ICARUS is a virtual reality training environment for satellite Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT). It allows engineers and technicians to practise realistic assembly and integration procedures in a controlled virtual environment, without requiring access to scarce and expensive flight hardware or cleanroom facilities. The system supports guided training as well as hands-on practice, helping organisations improve knowledge transfer, training flexibility and readiness for real AIT operations.
